Bonjour :) Je suis Amanda et je suis de Georgia. I am 19 years of age and a student at the greatest school in the SEC, THE University of Georgia. I am a sister of the Delta Gamma fraternity. Music is a huge part of my life. I aspire to become a professional recording artist. Currently, I am majoring in business management. My back-up career would have to be something in the entertainment industry as an agent. I think that would be pretty neat.

I like television, music, and celebrities. I believe that everyone has their own taste in music and tv and whatnot. I won’t tell you what’s garbage because what I don’t like, someone else adores. I would hope that whomever is reading this blog will not disrespect. It’s plain and simple: don’t like it? ‘Click the Dashboard’ button.

As far as my music taste goes, I am by no means a ‘hipster’. I do like some non-mainstream music that I hope to share with my followers, but I also love singing along to the radio. I am a huge fan of: Ben Rector, NEEDTOBREATHE, Brand New, Drake, Dave Barnes, Maroon 5, Whitney Houston, Tyler Hilton, The Script, Matt Nathanson, Gavin DeGraw, John Mayer, Manchester Orchestra, The Notorious B.I.G., Wiz Khalifa, Adele, Amos Lee, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog (anything Chris Cornell, really), BBMak, Blink-182, Cartel, Coldplay, David Crowder Band, Lil Wayne, Four Years Strong, The Fray, Fredalba, Glass Bottom Boat, Graham Colton, Halifax, House of Pain, Naughty by Nature, Johnny Cash, Justin Timberlake, NSYNC (I am a huge fan of NSYNC. As far as television goes, since coming to UGA, I haven’t been keeping up with cable. However, Netflix has become my homie. Pretty recently, I’ve been keeping up with: The Voice, One Tree Hill, Saved By The Bell, The Hills, Laguna Beach, Nip/Tuck, How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, any of those Food Network challenges (Sweet Genius, Chopped, Cupcake Wars, etc.), Law & Order: SVU, Tough Love, The Real World, The (Real World/Road Rules) Challenge, Malcolm in the Middle, etc.

The celebrities that I love are actually listed on the main page. They change every now and then, but the constants are: Brody Jenner, Adam Levine, Ben Rector, Kristin Cavallari, Lauren Conrad, and Chad Michael Murray.

I’m a proud member of ΔΓ (Delta Gamma) at the wonderful University of Georgia in Athens. I have the best two hundred sisters a girl could ask for. During my freshman year, I was appointed Co-Social Chair for the chapter. I have had such a blast serving ΔI (Delta Iota, UGA’s Chapter of ΔΓ).

The University of Georgia is a dream come true. It is more than I have ever dreamed, and I am so fortunate to go there. I’ve made the some of the best friends I could ever ask for, from the sorority, classes, and the random extra curricular activities that I did.
